One Year Referralaversary!!

One year ago today, on May 13, 2009 we opened our email to see the sweetest little face for the very first time:

While that day was a blur, I remember very clearly thinking WOW...my life has just changed forever. She is my daughter & I will do anything for her.

Who would have thought that "anything" was a fight to the death to get her home. But wow--was it worth it. So happy referral day my lovely Jane girl. You have changed our lives forever & I praise God for seeing fit to let me be your Mommy. Look how far you've come!

I'm Staging A Comeback

Hey long lost friends. Just wanted to let you know that my "comeback" to blogging will be happening soon. Not sure when, or what I'll say, but it's coming. So stay tuned :)

See...it's not that I'm too busy. It's not that I just don't want to blog.

Truth? I have too much to say. And no words to say it.

So how do you work with that?

I'm not sure either--but I know that God has called me to write. It is how He has gifted me. So my silence has become disobedience. So for the love of my Jesus, I will be back soon.
